I hit 168mph on mine right after i broke it in and was assuming that everyone that buys a race bike races it up to top speed ,....but i was wondering if i was right ?
So the questions are....
A) how fast how you gone on your bike ?
B) was your bike "maxed out" (highest speed obtainable)
c) how often do you hit that speed on your bike ? (i.e. - once or twice, every once in a while , all the time ? )
And just out of curiosity am i the only one who has done this with no gear ? Just curious as in "yes" or "no" not as in a world war 3 argument about gear or how stupid i am.

wish i knew the real mph but the speedo said 174mph 03 636 one tooth down in the front, would need someone to clock me id say 160ish idk . pluse i wear a tech style jacket an helmet, leather gloves, boots

Not sure when I willl try a top speed run, but I can tell you it won't be anytime soon.

Thug are you in Stillwater OK now? How long have u been there and when are you leaving?

topped it out, dont know the mph but on the dyno it said about 150 something as to the top speed i'm not sure but the engine rpms were up there
hit it once while very pissed off one night
and always geared when on the bike

Oh and I do wear a helmet, jacket, gloves and usually jeans and some type of boot.

thug are you in stillwater ok now? How long have u been there and when are you leaving?
i moved up here (TO STILLWATER) approx. 4 yrs ago from omaha and got clean and sober.
Unfortunately i started relapsing about a year ago.
Last jan. I went to omaha for rehab and have been there for the last 5 mths. I am in a 12 step rehab program there. I am currently on step 8 and have a couple/few more months to go.
However, i got kicked out for 30 days a few weeks ago because someone there claimed i punched them in the face, so i came back up here to chill in stillwater. I will be heading back to omaha in a week or two considering a bed re-opens up for me.
Why ? Whats up bro ?

Just wondering cause when I come home in Sept for leave Im going to OKlahoma I'll be staying about a hour southeast of OKC.

Well i cant plan alot but im thinking at least one day of good riding. After I get her put back together.
I ride solo allot to but always fun to ride with a couple peeps.

So also when i did my run i had a allot more so ill have to find out. I'll have to compare my to bikes. My Yama has -1 on the front. So on the one i hit 144 with no speedo healer so i think more like 137

Most I have ever got to is 150ish but I still had plenty left. Thats without a speedohealer so was more like 130-140 i guess. Standard front and back. I quite often go up to 100 but since I got pulled for speeding in my car, I feel a lot more careful as I could do without my insurance going up... oh and the points on my license.
Always wear gear.

I hit the redline in 5th once, glanced down and it said 159 or so. Thats without speedo healer. I was too chicken to hit 6th at that speed. Im usually never over 85. Sometimes squid with a tee shirt, jeans and boots if its above 90 out. Most times wear my jacket, jeans, and boots

A)110mph but not insane to go any harder. Fines are a bitch..
B)Maxed out on dyno
C) Daily cruiser soo no.

Don't care about top speed any monkey can twist the throttle and be a straight line hero.
A) 70mph thats the speed limit
B) Yeah in first
c) 70 every time i ride

i hit 145
still had some left to go (not maxed)
i hit 100 all the time..but just for a few seconds i get it up there and then let if fall back to like 80 which is no different if you get pulled over.
i always wear gear..but there are those days.

I'm all about the Velocity squared (acceleration)
a. I hit 95 so far just passing on the express way
b. no max for me yet
c. I ride mostly in the city unfortunately but plan on getting some highway riding in this weekend hopefully some twisties
I wear my gear and you ignorant for not wearing it... HAHA just kidding not starting WWIII

I took my 09 up above 160 mph for a good 20-30 mins solid.. it felt gooooood. Hitting 90 in 1st gear.. and giving it some throttle action.

A) 103mph
B) nah
C) Not very often, only when i'm trying to get around some clown on the freeway
Yep always geared...even though it is hot as hell in Houston.....need to invest in a vest out here!!

a. 162mph indicated on the speedo
b. Definitely not maxed out
c. It was on track and I was in full track gear including back and chest protectors. Only do this kind of speed on the circuit
